<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine having new game performance. <P>SOLUTION: A Pachinko game machine performs a lottery for generation of a jackpot game status based on the entry of a game ball into a first or second start prize hole 2001 or 2002. The Pachinko game machine has a structure such that the jackpot game status is controlled under a first mode in a first game status, the jackpot game status is controlled under a second mode different from the first mode in a second game status, and inhibition of the shift to the second game status is released during the first game status to provide an opportunity to shift to the second game status. When drawing a prize in a lottery during each of the first and second game statuses, a player is notified of the winning of the prize so that the type of the prize is identified.
