<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thrust bearing for which a protrusion to be fixed to a mounted member is formed simultaneously with a bearing ring, and in which an unnecessary interference between a part other than the protrusion of the bearing ring and a groove of the mounted member can be avoided. <P>SOLUTION: The thrust bearing includes at least one bearing ring 2 having a raceway surface 2s and a plurality of rolling elements disposed along the circumferential direction for the raceway surface, and is mounted to the mounted member. The bearing ring has an annular raceway flat plate part 2a formed with the raceway, and a cylinder part 2b extended to a forming side of the raceway surface with respect to the axial direction from the outer circumferential edge of the raceway flat plate part. In the cylinder part, for preventing falling from the mounted member mounted with the thrust bearing, at least one protrusion 20 protruded in the diameter expansion direction from the outer circumferential edge of an extended head 22b thereof is provided, and a bore part 30 penetrating the cylinder part from the inner diameter side to the outer diameter side is formed correspondingly to the protrusion.
