<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tumor detection method and a tumor detection device using UWB pulse capable of detecting a tumor at a position deep in a human body. <P>SOLUTION: The tumor detection method and the tumor detection device are characterized in including steps of: irradiating a human body with a first radio wave pulse and determining whether or not a second radio wave pulse, which is a reflected wave of the first radio wave pulse, is the one reflected in the inside of a human body: irradiating the human body with a third radio wave pulse, when the second radio wave pulse is not the one reflected in the inside of the human body, and determining whether or not a fourth radio wave pulse, which is a reflected radio wave pulse of the third radio wave pulse, is the one reflected in the inside of the human body. When the voltage swing of the first radio wave pulse is represented by V1, the number of first radio wave pulse per unit time by N1, the voltage swing of the third radio wave pulse by V3, and the number of the third radio wave pulse per unit time by N3, if V3 is determined to be larger than V1 and N3 is determined to be smaller than N1 and while the second radio wave pulse or the fourth radio wave pulse is determined to be the one reflected in the inside of the human body, a tumor inside the human body is judged to exist. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
