Provided is a pneumatic tire which is properly balanced in terms of straight travel stability, abrasion resistance, grip performance during turning, and turning stability while also preventing shoulders from partially cracking at fillets. The pneumatic tire comprises an annular tread part (13). The tread part (13) is composed of a base rubber layer (4) and cap rubber layers (5) disposed on both lateral sides of the base rubber layer (4) in the tire width direction, wherein the base rubber layer (4) and the cap rubber layers (5) are sequentially stacked, the rubber of the cap rubber layers (5) is less hard than the rubber of the base rubber layer (4), and the thicknesses of the cap rubber layers (5) in fillets of the shoulders are 1.0 mm or greater. |
