The splash guard has a plate with a structure, which represents an image in the form of a graphic, photographic reproduction. The plate is smudge-proof. The plate is an aluminum-, wooden- or plastic plate. The plate is coated with aluminum. The plate is directly printed or printable. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a drilling template for mounting a splash guard; and (2) a method for manufacturing a decorative splash guard.
