<p>Disclosed are a method and system for controlling UE to take measurements, method comprising: a radio network controller notifies a UE to take ANR measurements, and instructs the UE with measurement reporting parameters, the parameters comprising: a pre-set time, an ANR measurement threshold, and a maximum number of cells to be reported; the UE takes ANR measurements and periodically, according to the pre-set time, reports the measurement results that meet a pre-set condition regarding the ANR measurement threshold, each report comprising the measurement results of M cells, M not greater than the maximum number of cells to be reported. The technical solution presented in the present invention solves the problem in the prior art of lack of specific procedure to control a UE to take and report measurements, thereby timely updating neighboring relations of a cell, ensuring continuity of user calls, and enhancing the quality of service to users.</p> |
