<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an angle detector capable of accurately detecting an angle of a rotation axis. <P>SOLUTION: According to one embodiment, the angle detector comprises: a resolver for detecting an angle of the rotation axis of a rotary apparatus and generating a first signal with an excitation signal amplitude-modulated according to a rotation angle and a second signal perpendicular to the first signal; a first AD conversion part for receiving the first signal and performing analog-to-digital conversion of the first signal; a second AD conversion part for receiving a second signal and performing analog-to-digital conversion of the second signal; a first delay circuit for receiving a third signal outputted from the first AD conversion part and performing phase adjustment of the third signal; a second delay circuit for receiving a fourth signal outputted from the second AD conversion part and performing phase adjustment of the fourth signal; and phase detection adjustment means for monitoring the phases of signals outputted from the first and second delay circuits and instructing phase adjustment to the first and second delay circuits when a phase shift is generated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
