<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve surface glossiness suitable for a type of a droplet adhering to a recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: An image formation apparatus includes: a droplet adhesion unit for bringing about the adhesion of the first-type droplet and second-type droplet, which is different from the first-type droplet, to the recording medium; an irradiator that individually applies electromagnetic waves to the first-type and second-type droplets adhering to the recording medium; an irradiation controller for making the irradiator periodically apply the electromagnetic wave; and a frequency setting unit for setting a frequency of an irradiation period, which is a period of the application of the electromagnetic wave by the irradiator, as a first frequency so that the surface glossiness of the first-type droplet can be a predetermined threshold or above, and for setting the frequency of the irradiation period as a second frequency different from the first frequency so that the surface glossiness of the second-type droplet can be lower than a predetermined threshold. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
