<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid or battery powered work machine which hardly brings operational discomfort to an operator and allows electric power stored in a storage battery to be effectively utilized within a preliminarily scheduled work time. <P>SOLUTION: The decrement of power storage amount in a storage device 60 during a prescribed time period t1 is obtained after start-up of a work machine. A workable time t2 is obtained from the obtained decrement and the residual amount of power storage in the storage device 60. A determination is made whether the obtained workable time t2 attains the residual time for a scheduled work, which is calculated by subtracting the past real work time from a preliminarily scheduled work time. When the workable time is determined to be unattainable, the maximum value of a pump absorption horsepower is reduced to a value which allows the workable time to attain the residual time for the scheduled work time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
