A portable ice fishing or hunting shanty is provided that has a stored mode and a deployed mode. The portable ice fishing or hunting shanty has a frame that has a mounting bar that can be inserted into a hitch receiver such as a “4 Wheeler” all terrain vehicle. When the portable ice fishing or hunting shanty is in a stored mode several panels are folded together and all of the shanty components are combined together in a self contained compact unit. When the portable ice fishing or hunting shanty is in a deployed mode the shanty has a seat for a fisherman, floor panels, and at shell enclosure. A floor panel has a hinged panel that opens to allow holes to be drilled in ice for ice fishing. The shanty can be quickly be transformed from the stored mode into the deployed mode. The shanty can be also be quickly be transformed from the deployed mode into the stored mode. |
