The valve (1) i.e. check valve, has a valve disk (2) and a valve seat (3) provided in a filtering unit e.g. fuel or lubricant filter, or a hand pump i.e. fuel or lubricant hand-pump. The valve disk and/or valve seat comprise a metallic base body (4), which is partially covered with a sealing elastomer layer (5). The base body of the valve disk and a valve seat are made of steel or aluminum, where the valve disk and/or valve seat include a bead in a region of the elastomer layer. The valve disk, valve seat, a lid (10) and springs (11, 22) form a prefabricated assembly.
