The electromagnetic abeyance concept comprises a track, on whose both sides rails (S1,S2) are arranged to generate field effects lower side in an air gap of serial magnets (M1,M2) arranged in the vehicle (FZ) holding as constant as possible. The rails comprise magnetically highly conductive steel plates and each side forms two rectangular rail bodies for generation of force components. The rail bodies at the horizontal support portions of the rail carrier (T) are fixed to the track.
