PURPOSE: An electrowetting display device is provided to form a common voltage pad on an upper substrate, thereby simplifying manufacturing processes and reducing manufacturing costs. CONSTITUTION: A spacer(60) is formed on an external area of a second substrate. The spacer maintains the gap between a first substrate and the second substrate. A second electrode(36) is formed on a color filter layer of the second substrate and the spacer. The second electrode receives a voltage from the first substrate. The second electrode forms an electric field with a first electrode.
