摘要 Producing ammonium lactate by microbial conversion of an aqueous fermentation broth containing a first substrate to a lactate containing first fermentation broth, comprises: adding ammonia (13) to the first fermentation broth; separating ammonium lactate; generating the ammonia by methanogenic microbial conversion of nitrogen-containing substrate or biomass (10); separating the ammonia; reducing the heat of the biomass; heating the lactate-containing first fermentation broth; and adding the fraction of the first fermentation broth to the second fermentation broth. Producing ammonium lactate by microbial conversion of an aqueous fermentation broth containing a first substrate to a lactate containing first fermentation broth, comprises: adding ammonia (13) to the first fermentation broth; separating ammonium lactate by a fraction of the first fermentation broth; generating the ammonia added to the first fermentation broth by methanogenic microbial conversion of nitrogen-containing substrate or biomass (10), which contains protein, uric acid and/or urea to a biogas (11) containing methane and ammonia-containing second biogas fermentation broth; separating the ammonia from ammonia-containing second biogas fermentation broth; reducing the heat of the biomass containing second biogas fermentation broth during the methanogenic microbial conversion by a heat exchanging medium; heating the lactate-containing first fermentation broth with this heat; and at least partially adding the fraction of the first fermentation broth, from which the ammonium lactate is separated to the second fermentation broth. An independent claim is also included for a device for producing ammonium lactate, comprising a first fermentation tank (21), which is designed to receive an aqueous solution containing the first substrate for lactic acid fermentation, a first supply line for gaseous ammonia and a withdrawal line for removing lactate containing first fermentation broth. The first supply line is connected with an outlet line, which is connected with a second fermentation tank. A stripping device for stripping ammonia is arranged between the second fermentation tank and the first supply line. The stripping device has a supply line for the stripping medium, which is connected to an exhaust air duct of the first fermentation tank. The second fermentation tank is equipped for the methanogenic microbial conversion of protein, uric acid and/or urea-containing biomass into the biogas containing methane and ammonia-containing second biogas fermentation broth. The first fermentation tank has a first heat exchanger, which is coupled with a second heat exchanger by an inlet and an outlet for heat exchanging medium, which is located on the second fermentation tank.
