<p>A receptor layer forming composition of a thermal transfer receiving sheet includes a core/shell-type latex which includes a core portion made from an acrylic resin (A) and a shell portion made from a urethane resin (B); and a hydrophilic acrylic resin containing hydroxyalkyl (meth)acrylate as at least one polymerizable component. The acrylic resin (A) contains substituted or unsubstituted phenoxyalkyl (meth)acrylate and/or substituted or unsubstituted phenoxy polyalkylene glycol (meth)acrylate as at least one polymerizable component thereof.
