<p>A power strip has a power cord socket having a main electric receptacle provided on a face panel and a side electric receptacle provided on a stepped sidewall thereof, and an extension socket having a main electric receptacle provided on a face panel and a side electric plug provided an inverted stepped sidewall thereof, wherein the side electric plug is insertable into the side electric receptacle in a direction perpendicular to the base of the power cord socket, thereby connecting the extension socket to the power cord socket. The extension socket further includes an opposite stepped sidewall wherein two extension sockets can be connected together. The power strip includes an end piece with a plug insertable into the receptacle of the power cord socket or extension socket. Projection-and-groove and catch-and-trough engagements are formed on mating stepped sidewalls of the sockets and end piece.</p> |
