PURPOSE: An optical transistor is provided to store optical information used for optical communications without photo-electric transformation while effectively transferring an optical signal. CONSTITUTION: An optical transistor(100) is comprised of a source(110), a gate(120), and a drain(130). The source and the drain are formed into same medium. An optical waveguide is comprises of a core layer and a clad layer(220). The clad layer surrounds the core layer. The core layer comprises a first core layer and a second core layer. The second core layer divides the first core layer into two. The second core layer performs a role as a gator. The first core layer and the second core layer are formed into same medium or different medium.
