PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make easy selection of character strings which become the same within the limited number of characters. SOLUTION: When characters are input in a retrieval word input field 81 of a retrieval word input screen, keywords corresponding to the characters are displayed in keyword fields 86-88. The maximum number of displayed characters of the keyword fields 86-88 is five characters, and regarding the keywords whose first five characters are common such as "rainbow land", "rainbow sea" and "rainbow store", "rainb" is displayed in one field. When a user selects an integrated display, a navigator further displays the following character strings such as "land", "sea" and "store" in keyword fields 86-88 and has the user select one.
