PURPOSE: A message authentication method is provided to protect a receiver from phishing by providing authentication for the sender of a message received by a receiver terminal according to receiver requests. CONSTITUTION: A sender authentication server(300) creates a hash value and message ID(Identification) for a message of a sender terminal(100). The sender authentication server transmits the message including the hash value and the message ID to a receiver terminal(500). When a sender authentication request for the message is received from the receiver terminal, the sender authentication server authenticates the sender of the message. The sender authentication server transmits authentication results to the receiver terminal.
