<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antistatic hard coat having excellent antistatic performance and transparency and containing a relatively small amount of conductive fine particles and provide a coating composition for the antistatic hard coat suitable for high-speed continuous coating operation. <P>SOLUTION: The antistatic hard coat layer is composed of a composition containing conductive fine particles and a binder.
