<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a muscular strength sensor which can obtain stable output voltage and a signal corresponding to a change in muscular strength in a linear form without being influenced by noises. <P>SOLUTION: The muscular sensor 10 has a sensor part 12, a capacitance-voltage converting circuit 14, a low-pass filtering circuit, and an amplifying circuit 16. The sensor part 12 comprises a pair of sensor electrodes 12a and 12b pasted onto the surface of the skin and an auxiliary electrode 12c inserted between them. Thus, a change in ion composition in the skin by changes in muscular strength is read as a change in capacitance and the change in capacitance is converted into an electric signal by the capacitance-voltage converting circuit 14. Here, the sensitivity of the detected change in capacitance is improved by the auxiliary electrode 12c. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
