摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface plasma actuator for high-temperature field that can generate plasma jet with stability over a long term without causing dielectric breakdown of insulating materials even at high temperature, peel-off of electrodes, destruction of electrodes due to surface airflow and the like. <P>SOLUTION: A front-side electrode 3 and a rear-side electrode 5 include an insulating material 1 interposed, and a coating layer 7 consisting of a porous material is formed by applying coating on the top surface of the front-side electrode 3 and the top surface 2 of the insulating material 1 by means of the EB-PVD method and the like using an alumina-based material or mullite. Because of porosity of the coating layer, when high voltage is applied across both electrodes from a power source 6, surface plasma 9 is generated outside the coating layer 7, and induced airflow 11 comes out as well. Therefore, both electrodes can be used as the surface plasma actuator. The electrodes may be embedded into the insulating material, or in case the coating layer is non-porous, a part of the coating layer on the front-side electrode 3 may be removed to provide a protruding electrode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
