摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely measure a temperature of a measuring object, without setting an emissivity of a substance constituting the measuring object, when measuring the temperature of the measuring object, irrespective of a black measuring object or a gray measuring object based on the Plank's law, or a non-gray measuring object not based on the Plank's law. <P>SOLUTION: This temperature detector/temperature detection method has an infrared ray irradiation means for irradiating the measuring object with an infrared ray including a plurality of different wavelength ranges in an infrared area; an infrared detecting means for detecting an infrared ray intensity in the plurality of different wavelength ranges in the infrared area emitted from the measuring object in response to a surface temperature thereof, when the infrared ray irradiation means is turned off, and an infrared ray intensity in the plurality of different wavelength ranges in the infrared area emitted and reflected from the measuring object, when the infrared ray irradiation means is turned on; and a computation control means for calculating the temperature of the measuring object, based on the infrared ray intensities in the plurality of different wavelength ranges detected by the infrared detecting means respectively at the times when infrared ray irradiation means is turned on/off. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p>
