摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation detector capable of eliminating polarization in a semiconductor detector while preventing adverse influence to a power source for applying bias voltage to the semiconductor detector. <P>SOLUTION: A PET apparatus 100 includes: the power source HV1; a capacitor C1 for applying voltage to the semiconductor detector 3; a relay SW3 connected between the power source HV1 and the capacitor C1; a relay SW1 keeping one end connected with a line connecting between the capacitor C1 and the relay SW3, and the other end grounded; and a relay SW2 for grounding the line through a resistor. The relay SW3 is closed (power supplied) after the relay SW1 and the relay SW2 are opened (power shut) to charge the capacitor C1. In addition, the relay SW2 is opened (power shut) after the relay SW3 is closed (power supplied), and further the relay SW1 is opened (power shut) when the voltage of the capacitor C1 is lower than a predetermined voltage to discharge the capacitor C1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
