METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SUPPORTING USER EQUIPMENT MOBILITY IN A WIERLESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method and apparatus for supporting the mobility of a terminal in a wireless communication system are provided to prevent the occurence of execution errors in a network by accurately determining the mobility of UE(User Equipment). CONSTITUTION: An HeNB(Home evolved-NodeB)(120) transmits a setup request message to an MME(Mobility Management Entity)(130). The setup request message includes the version information of the HeNB. The version information of the HeNB displays the capability of the HeNB. The MME grasps kinds of the HeNB connected to UE using the version information of the HeNB. When UE requests for accessing to an LIPA(Local Internet Protocol Access) service or SIPTO(Selected Internet Protocol Traffic Offload) service, the MME activates the LIPA or SIPTO service.
