<p>PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for allocating a reference signal in a wireless communication system and an apparatus and method for receiving the reference signal using the same are provided to prevent the deterioration of terminal positioning and channel estimation performance by preventing the duplication of resources with a sub frame unit or an RE(Resource Element) unit. CONSTITUTION: PRS(Positioning Reference Signal) configuration information about one or more base stations or cells including oneself is identified(S1210). A CSI-RS(Channel State Information-Reference Signal) subframe is determined in order to maximally prevent from being overlapped with subframes formed for PRS transmission(S1220). A CSI-RS is allocated to only the n number of CSI-RS patterns from the N number of usable CSI-RS patterns when the CSI-RS subframe and the PRS transmission subframe are overlapped(S1230). A PRS is muted or punctured in order not to transmit the PRS to a corresponding RE(Resource Element)(S1240).</p> |
