ANALGESIC AND ANTIPYRETIC COMPOSITIONS CONTAINING DECURSINOL DERIVATIVES

PURPOSE: A pharmaceutical composition containing decursinol derivatives is provided to be used as an analgenic and antipyretic agent with low toxicity. CONSTITUTION: An antipyretic composition contains a compound of chemical formula 1. In chemical formula 1, R is hydrogen, (7S)-butanedioic acid, or (7S)-acetic acid. An analgenic composition contains the compound of chemical formula 1. The compound of chemical formula 1 contains (7S)-butanedioic acid-8,8-dimethyl-2-oxo-6,7-dihydro-2H, 8H-pyrano[3,2-g]chromen-7-yl-ester(succinyl decursinol), and (7S)-acetic acid-8,8-dimethyl-2-oxo-6,7-dihydro-2H,8H-pyrano[3,2-g]chromen-7-yl-ester(acetyl decursinol).
