<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery structure capable of obtaining high capacity and excellent battery characteristics for a nonaqueous secondary battery with lithium-containing transition metal oxide as a cathode active material and SiO<SB>x</SB>(provided, 0.5≤x≤1.5) as an anode active material, as well as its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: A buffer layer and a Li-containing layer formed by a vapor phase method are arrayed in turn on an anode mixture layer containing an anode material composed of a core containing SiO<SB>x</SB>(provided, 0.5≤x≤1.5) and a carbon coating layer coating its surface, Li of the Li-containing layer is made occluded into the anode material by electrochemical reaction, and Li by 0.8 to 2.4 times in an atom ratio to Si is made contained in the SiO<SB>x</SB>with discharge of the battery completed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
