<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display element having a reflection display region reducing driving voltage, and to provide a display device. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display element includes a liquid crystal layer interposed between first and second substrates and has a common electrode and a pixel electrode having a plurality of slits on the first substrate side. At least a reflective film having a convex pattern provided on the surface side thereof and an interlayer dielectric are disposed between the first substrate and the pixel electrode, the pixel electrode has a shape imitating the convex pattern and end parts of an electrode part via the slits of the pixel electrode are provided so as not to be disposed on the convex pattern. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
