摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a display quality from being degraded when static electricity is discharged in a liquid crystal display device wherein the alignment of liquid crystal molecules is controlled by using an electric field in a nearly horizontal direction to a transparent substrate. <P>SOLUTION: A conductive black matrix 32A in a display part 10A is electrically connected to a panel terminal 23A of a terminal part 10T and a DC voltage of nearly the same potential as a video center of a display signal whose polarity is reversed is applied to the panel terminal 23A from a driving circuit DR. The black matrix 32A is connected to a fourth electrode 22 disposed on a first flattening film 17 on a first transparent substrate 10 of the display part 10A via a conductive particle 42 and the fourth electrode 22 is connected to the panel terminal 23A of the terminal part 10T via each electrode of lower layers thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
