The hose coupling device has a hose coupling unit (50a) comprising a coupling housing (60a) in which a retaining unit (51) is provided. The retaining unit is provided to retain a counter-holding unit of the machine terminal such that a compressed air line of hose is in communication with a machine compressed-air inlet of machine terminal of pneumatic hand-held machine tool. An exhaust port and an exhaust air inlet are provided in an exhaust passage that is in communication with an engine exhaust outlet when the hose coupling unit is connected to the machine terminal. An independent claim is included for pneumatic hand-held machine tool.
