<p>The Radio frequency identificationreading tunnel (10) comprises a radio frequency identification- reader (12) for reading radio frequency identification transponders (24) in the read area (20). The evaluation unit (32) is designed for a false reading check, in which radio frequency identification information is discarded when the radio frequency identification signal belonging to the radio frequency identification information is received from the reading receiving antenna (26) and from the additional receiving antenna (28).
