The flexible coupling (1) has a primary coupling unit which is firmly connected with the drive unit. A secondary coupling unit is firmly connected with the driven section. The primary coupling unit and secondary coupling unit are connected with the material-resilient connector. The material-resilient connector has a measuring unit for measuring a relative rotation between the primary coupling unit and secondary coupling unit.
