<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid polymer fuel cell system and its control method capable of alleviating degradation of power generating efficiency due to excess or shortage of bleed air as well as damage of fuel electrode catalyst. <P>SOLUTION: The solid polymer fuel cell system, provided with a fuel cell stack (1), a bleed air mixing means for mixing fuel gas with oxygen-containing gas (a mixing section (3) and a first oxygen supply section (P1)), is further provided with a control section (5), and a current measurement part (4) measuring an output current of the fuel cell stack (1). In case a current density found from a current value (I) measured by the current measurement section (4) is larger than a first threshold value, the control section (5) controls the bleed air mixing means (3, P1) to mix oxygen-containing gas into the fuel gas. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
