<p>PURPOSE: A light emitting device, a display device, and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce the rate of light total-reflected in the interface of atmosphere and a second substrate by appropriately controlling a refractive index of a substrate and each layer. CONSTITUTION: A bottom insulation film(102) is formed on a first substrate(100). A first electrode(104) and a second electrode(114) are formed on the bottom insulation film. A first barrier(108) covering an end portion of the first electrode and an end portion of the second electrode is formed. A second barrier(110) is formed on the first electrode. An organic electron-luminescent layer(112) is formed on the first electrode, the first barrier, and the second barrier. A third electrode covers the second electrode having translucency in the organic electron-luminescent layer and a visible ray region.</p> |
