VIBRO-TACTILE STIMULATOR FOR TWO-POINT DISCRIMINATION

PURPOSE: A vibro-tactile stimulator for two-point discrimination is provided to increase the accuracy of tactile recognition ability evaluation by optimizing the position and arrangement of tactile stimulators. CONSTITUTION: An outer fixing case(C) including a vibrating stimulation motor case(D) is fixed to a stand(A) using a nylon string(B). A stimulation probe(E) connected to a vibrating motor is located on the skin of an examinee(M). The stand fixes a vibrating stimulator using the nylon string which is connected to the four upper corners of the outer fixing case. The height of the stand is controlled to maintain a uniform contact force to the examinee's skin.
