PURPOSE: A decorative embossed pattern forming method is provided to cost effectively form embossed patterns on the surfaces of interior articles based on intermediate materials. CONSTITUTION: A decorative embossed pattern forming method includes the following: an intermediate material(30) is formed into three-dimensional patterns; the intermediate material is closely arranged on a base material(20), and a sheet material(50) is attached to the intermediate material; and the outer side of the sheet material is pressurized to express the patterns of the intermediate material on the sheet material. The intermediate material is one of the pieces of wood, cut resin, hardenable foam resin ink, papers, and threads. Textures or colors are expressed on the intermediate material based on an auxiliary material.
