The invention relates to accurate indoor and outdoor localization and/or tracking/monitoring of stationary or moving living beings or any other objects equipped with, but not limited to, one or more wireless communication devices, receiver of a satellites based radio navigation system, accelerometers, gyroscopes and magnetometers. A method of executing measurements and processing controlled by radio frequency (RF) propagation loss based algorithm within a localization device mounted on a stationary or moving living being or any other object as well as a distributed method where measurements' data are collected at a localization device, mounted on a stationary or moving living being or any other object, and subsequently relayed for processing, controlled by said RF propagation loss based algorithm, to remote tracking/monitoring points through a wireless link are proposed. |
