PURPOSE: A wheel speed calculation method and apparatus of a vehicle are provided to accurately calculate wheel speed by accurately detecting interrupt in a pulse signal inputted from a wheel speed sensor. CONSTITUTION: An interrupt detector(121) detects interrupt in an input pulse inputted from a wheel speed sensor. The interrupt detector counts detection number of the interrupt. A buffer part(130) stores the detection number and detection time detected by the interrupt detector. An undetected interrupt determining part(122) determines the presence of undetected interrupt before currently detected interrupt based on the detection number and level of the interrupt. A detection time estimating part(123) estimates detection time of the undetected interrupt. A wheel speed calculator(124) calculates pulse width based on the detection time of the undetected interrupt and the detection time of the detected interrupt. The wheel speed calculator calculates wheel speed by using the pulse width. |
