PURPOSE: A machine vision camera trigger generating device and an optical measuring device using the same are provided to photograph a measurement image when a pattern for measurement is irradiated to a measurement object regardless of a working state of a PC system. CONSTITUTION: A trigger generator receives a video signal through an input connector(506). The trigger generator transfers the video signal to a display device such as a projector through an output connector(507). A detector detects a trigger image from the inputted video signal. If an image signal including a video image for trigger generation is inputted from outside, the trigger generator photographs an object through the trigger signal.
