POWER TRANSMISSION APPARATUS FOR A COMPRESSOR

PURPOSE: A power transmission of a compressor is provided to improve the torsional durability and the strength of a limiter by adding nickel, molybdenum, and copper etc. CONSTITUTION: A power transmission of a compressor comprises a pulley(10), a damper(40), a limiter(50), and a hub(60). The pulley is rotated by the torque of an engine. The damper absorbs the impact caused by torque transferred by the rotary shaft of a compressor by being rotated by the pulley. The limiter prevents the transferring of the torque of an engine to the rotary shaft larger than predetermined level by being broken. The hub transfers the torque of the limiter to the rotary shaft by being connected to the limiter and the rotary shaft. The limiter is composed of 0.1 to 0.7 wt.% of Ni, 0.1 to 0.7 wt.% of Mo, and residual Fe.
