PURPOSE: A buoyancy control apparatus having a pressure equalizing device, a underwater glider using the same, and a buoyancy control method using pressure equalization are provided to operate an underwater glider at every water depth with minimum power and to control buoyancy in any water depth with same power. CONSTITUTION: A buoyancy control apparatus comprises a piston unit(100), a pressure detecting unit(200), an operating unit(300), and a buoyancy generating unit(700). The piston unit is divided into a first space and a second space. The pressure detecting unit detects the pressure of the first and second spaces. The operating unit is connected to the piston unit and operates the piston unit to vary the size of the first and second spaces. The buoyancy generating unit generates buoyancy by discharging seawater flowing into the second space to the ocean.
