PURPOSE: A multipurpose function expression and screen display method in the text message of a portable terminal and transmission method are provided to obtain advertisement effects by enabling a user to effectively searching messages. CONSTITUTION: A smart phone(300) transmits messages to a transmission server(201) using a P2P(Peer to Peer) method. The transmission server examines the performance of a reception phone. When the reception phone has a multipurpose function, the transmission server transmits the message to the smart phone. When the reception phone does not have the multipurpose function, the transmission server transmits the message to an existed phone(301) through a mobile communication service company(202).
