PURPOSE: A cosmetic composition containing Opuntia extract and edelweiss extract is provided to enhance skin moisturization and antibacterial property, and to relieve skin irritation. CONSTITUTION: A cosmetic composition for skin moisturization contains 10-20 wt% of moisturizing complex containing Opuntia extract and edelweiss extract as an active ingredient. The complex further contains Glycyrrhiza extract and Zizyphi spinosi Semen extracts. The cosmetic composition is manufactured in the form of an emulsion, cream, lotion, essence, pack, gel, powder, lip stick, make-up base, foundation, ointment, cleansing foam, and spray.
