AUTHENTICATION METHOD AND APPARATUS IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: An authentication method in a wireless communication system and an apparatus thereof are provided to perform encrypted communications between authenticated nodes by performing authentication between the nodes. CONSTITUTION: An authentication request message requesting authentication for a first node(330) is received from a second node(340). The authentication request message is transmitted to a first authentication server(310). An authentication success message showing the authentication success of the first node is received from the first authentication server. The authentication success message is transmitted to the second node. The authentication request message comprises an identifier of the first node, an ID of the second node, and a first authentication code. The authentication success message comprises a hash value about the ID of the second node and a security key and a second authentication code used for performing the encrypted communication of the second node and the first node.
