PURPOSE: An Apparatus and method for controlling coexistence interference within apparatuses in a wireless communication system are provided to solve the uncertainty problem of an interference control procedure by accurately determining coexistence interference related information. CONSTITUTION: A terminal detects interference generated in a reception signal of a second frequency band of a second network system by the first frequency band of a first network system(S900). When a prohibition timer which prohibits the transmission of interference information is expired, the terminal transmits support information which supports the control of the detected interference to a base station(S910). The terminal receives response information which accepts or rejects the control of the detected interference from the base station by responding to the support information(S915).
