PURPOSE: An impact absorbing guardrail is provided to reduce the damage of a vehicle by absorbing impact during vehicle collision primarily and secondarily. CONSTITUTION: An impact absorbing guardrail comprises a post(20), a plurality of horizontal bars(30a), and a C-shaped secondary bracket(100b). The post is installed vertically. The horizontal bars are installed in post side and comprise a longitudinal cutout portion respectively. The second bracket is formed between the post and the horizontal bars. The secondary bracket comprises a flat support surface, a fastening surface, and an ellipse impact absorbing bar. The fastening surface is expanded and bent in the both sides of the flat supporting surface. The impact absorbing bar is connected to the fastening surfaces.
