PURPOSE: A method, an apparatus, and a unit for inputting and packing poly silicon chunks are provided to achieve additional cost reduction by removing the replacement cycle of silicon coated parts because of the hardness of the used hard metal parts. CONSTITUTION: A unit for inputting and packing poly silicon chunks comprises a feeding channel, a screen, a macro input channel(51), a micro input channel, and an input balance(9). The feeding channel conveys the product flow of silicon chunks. The screen separates the product flow into macro poly silicon chunks and micro poly silicon chunks. The macro input channel inputs the macro poly silicon chunks. The micro input channel inputs the micro poly silicon chunks. The input balance measures the weight of inputted poly silicon chunks.
