摘要 FIELD: electricity. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention represents an automatic voltage controller, which transforms input voltage supplied to an input terminal, and forwards the transformed voltage to the output terminal, besides, the automatic voltage controller comprises a unit of main windings with its one end connected with the input terminal, and its other end connected to the output terminal, and has several main windings and several first switches to switch these several main windings so that they are selectively connected in series; an excitation winding excited with at least one of main windings connected in series by the first switches of the main windings unit; the second switch for selective connection of one end of the excitation winding with the control potential or the output terminal; the third switch to connect the other end of the excitation winding with the control potential or the input terminal; and a control unit, which adjusts the level of output voltage at the output terminal by switchover of several first switches, the second switch and the third switch. The invention carries out accurate voltage control, in order to ensure a voltage level at the output as required by a user and performs various operations of power saving and voltage increase in an accurate manner. ^ EFFECT: invention may increase or decrease input voltage to get a required specified voltage with an error in a range of 1 V or less; invention comprises a simple relay switching circuit and does not use semiconductor switching devices, as a result of which it may operate in conditions of various systems without additional modification; invention does not contain multiple output leads or auxiliary windings and may adjust voltage in a wider range and produce accurate voltage within a control range. ^ 9 cl, 5 dwg, 1 tbl
