PURPOSE: A method for automatically encrypting and decrypting data and an apparatus thereof are provided to automatically encrypt and decrypt data by re-forming separated data. CONSTITUTION: Data is input from a user(S111). An encryption key for data automatically is created. A cipher text is formed by encrypting data through the encryption key(S112). A certificate for the cipher text and the encryption key is created(S113). An output text is created by arranging the data of the certificate in an arbitrary order(S114). A separated output text is distributionally saved in a information communication device and one or more external devices(S115). The user selects a piece of the output text saved in the information communication device from a plurality of output text pieces(S121). The plurality of output text pieces is collected(S122). A certificate is restored(S123). Authentication is performed through the cipher text, the encryption key, and an authentication key(S124). Data is re-formed by decrypting the cipher text through the encryption key(S125). The decrypted data is provided to the user(S126).
